Accountants' special interest group reaches 100 members

I am pleased to announce that the UKTECH accountants’ special interest group for accountants has just admitted its 100th new member approximately 6 months after the SIG was opened. The SIG is open to any accountant in practice who is interested in the issues that affect freelancers.

As the group develops we hope to be able to benefit from the collective experiences and wisdom of the group and to be able to use the group to identify the practical tax and accounting issues that affect freelancer businesses and put forward practical solutions – whether to freelancers or to the Government.

Members of the group are encouraged to raise any issues they consider will be of interest to other SIG members or matters where they hope other members have already identified a solution. The SIG is only accessible by SIG members to encourage the debate of issues and matters that accountants might not want to debate in the full glare of a public forum.

Anyone wishing to join the SIG should e mail Kevin@UKTECH with their UKTECH user name and the name of their firm or under which they practice.
