Big companies in clear over late payment details
A Companies House investigation into the reporting procedures of half the FTSE 100 companies has found that all comply with the legal requirement to publish details of how long they take to pay creditors.
The investigation took place after concerns were raised by the Federation for Small Business and Lib-Dem spokesman Brian Cotter, that small firms were suffering from late payments as hundreds of larger corporations flouted the law.
However, there were still complaints that this information is not easy to access.
