PCG launches B2B Portal
The Professional Contractors Group has launched its free business-to-business contract matching service to put its members in touch with contracting companies, clients and agents. The on-line Portal allows companies to search for specifically skilled contractors from among PCG's highly-skilled membership and allows PCG's members to tender for specific contracts which clients advertise on the site free of charge.
PCG's members create their own business profile, and clients and agents can visit the site to search for specific criteria. From within the Portal database of PCG members, the client is then provided with a list of available business profiles which fit their requirements. The opportunity to advertise is open to anyone wishing to register their details, however the opportunity to tender is available only to PCG members.
The Portal's business-to-business contract matching service benefits clients and agents by providing direct access to thousands of the best contracting and consultancy companies, in IT, engineering, telecoms, aerospace and other disciplines. Clients and agents can publish their requirements free of charge on the portal where they can be accessed by the 11,000 PCG members.
Simon Griffiths, PCG Director said: "PCG members are some of the most skilled and motivated contractors in the country. They are independent businesses willing to be judged on their abilities and track records, and share their know-how and business knowledge. The PCG itself is evidence of the skill and professionalism of members, who formed the Group to represent their interests and developed the Portal to market their skills - a sign of their positive 'can do' attitude.
"It is my hope that the Portal will become one the best places to find knowledge contractors in the UK."
The Portal can be used to find high calibre individuals, full teams or experienced project managers who can put a team together on request.
