Two new experts on Ask An Expert panel

Two new experts have joined UKTECH's Ask An Expert panel, both bringing an extra dimension along with their accountancy skills.

Wayne Barnett

Wayne Barnett As well as being Managing Director of Monitus Limited Chartered Accountants, Wayne has considerable hands-on experience in IT software development.

Wayne was a senior partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants, Jayson Newman, which then became part of Numerica which floated on the stock market. He subsequently left Numerica to specialise in the IT contracting market having previously looked after over 500 IT contractor limited company clients. Wayne is also a shareholder in Easycounting Ltd which was a joint venture established with a contractor client and provides online accounting software which is a market leader in the industry and used by many companies offering services to IT contractors.

Steven Marsh

Steven Marsh Steven's accountancy practice, Marsdens, specialises in providing a rounded service to small businesses, providing, not only accountancy services, but also advising and implementing marketing strategies to help small businesses maximise their returns.

Steven qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and has run his own successful accounting practice since 1986. He provides a general practice with "hands on" approach with the emphasis on helping clients build their businesses as well as tax planning and routine tax and accounting compliance work.

He has developed a keen interest in marketing, advertising and business coaching and has worked successfully with many clients to increase their business turnover and bottom line profit, whatever business sector they are in.
