UKTECH readers asked for information on IR35
UKTECH readers can input their views on IR35 directly to the next meeting of the IR35 Forum.
At the last meeting, there was an undertaking by members of the Forum to canvass their own members or colleagues about their experiences of IR35 after HMRC complained it was not receiving enough detailed information.
Kate Cottrell from contractor specialists, Bauer and Cottrell and a member of UKTECH's Ask An Expert panel is asking UKTECH readers to supply her with any information they think is relevant. Kate is a member of the IR35 Forum and an adviser on technical issues to the Office of Tax Simplification.
Kate said: "During the last meeting of the IR35 Forum HMRC expressed a need for evidence of real experiences of IR35 and Forum members were asked to consult with their organisations for evidence and views.
"I am happy to take to the IR35 Forum evidence and views of UKTECH readers who are not currently represented by Forum members e.g. the accountancy institutes, the agency bodies, or the FSB, the FCSA or PCG. This includes evidence and details of any IR35 cases that are more than 18 months old."
Comments and opinions for Kate to take to the IR35 Forum can be posted below this article.
