24 Month Rule on Relocation
An alternate (and perhaps unusual) slant on a familiar question. What if my residence has been moving around, but I have had a series of contracts that might possibly be considered to take me over the 24 month limit.
In the last 2 years, I have relocated around Europe (Sweden, Finland, Belgium, UK)
In that time I have had a series of contracts spanning 3-4 years, largely based in the City (London). There have been a number of periods (3-6 months) when I have been working abroad, but have generally worked in London (City) for 70+% of the last 4 years.
All the routes to the client (3 at least) were radically different (even on a week to week basis), of significant expense and definitely not to be considered as commuting to a "normal place of work"
Commuting was generally once or twice a week, returning "home" every weekend.
How might this be considered. Surely it can't be comparable.
