Granada TV

A contractor (not me) wrote in asking that Contractors email Granada TV requesting that the Dimbleby show invite Dawn P to explain the reasons behind IR 35

I put up a UKTECH call

The Granada IT director was on the phone this morning asking for this to stop. The server got jammed.

Having wrestled with the server for the PCG site that took 350 new members yesterday I know that 'stuffed' feeling and this would have been the last thing that Granada Sys Admin would have wanted.

Apologies to the Granada IT staff, and I would suggest that you give them a break

I did point out that these were individual Contractors expressing their concerns and making a legitimate request. It could have been snail mail jamming the letter box or telephone calls jamming the switchboard. In the brave new e-world of New Labour it is more likely to be servers getting stuffed

Talking of getting stuffed

Hopefully the Producers at Granada will understand the strength of feeling and ask that Treasury send out their Minister to justify this 'smash and grab' raid on small business, rather than hiding behind the Civil Servants who are tasked with implementing this measure
