Reader doubts a prospective Labour MP's letter will carry weight

And as such - unfortunately - carries about as much weight as a balloon full of Hydrogen!

I applaud Philip's letter to his party. Shouldn't he have waited until he actually had gotten in the 'boys club' (or is the seat already a Con/Lib certainty?) - that way it would have been refreshing to hear 1 NL MP have a go at the Gov't. However, in the words of an (ex) very famous political interviewer:

"Philip is very much a here today - and if I may say so - gone tomorrow prospective Labour MP!"
