Revenue arranges August client interviews without contractor

Just had a reply from the Revenue stating that enquiries will continue.

They have also gone and arranged interviews with end clients for August even though they don't have permission.

Permissions were granted 18 months ago to interview client A, as for client B, we stated they had permission as long as the individual interviewed was part of the project team on site with day to day knowledge of my working arrangement.

The IR interviewed client A approx 14 months ago. They have failed thus far to interview client B.

After the shambles of losing the files etc they requested permission to interview the end clients once again. We have not given permission for them to re-interview client A, and as far as I am aware the interview with client B will be at client B's head office in England with a contracts manager who must have little or no knowledge of me personally or my day to day working arrangements.

So it appears to me that they are trying to steam roller this forward. Surely they cannot do this?? I was of the opinion that they needed my permission to speak to end clients. My accountant is on holiday just now for 3 weeks and I am worried that by the time he returns things will have progressed yet again. I know he is going to ask the area director in writing to drop the review due to the gross mishandling. I would have thought everything should stop whilst this matter is being dealt with?

Also, am I able to contact my end clients with regards to this investigation whilst it is in progress to clarify certain points ie substitution??
